Maria Holuszko is an Associate Professor of Mining Engineering and Director of Urban Mining Innovation Center Her research looks at advancing new techniques for mineral processing and recovery and reprocessing of mine tailings, including efforts to salvage valuable metals from municipal waste streams such as electronic waste to facilitate circular economy.
